About The Position

ChristianaCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Center for Metabolic Health and Bariatric Surgery team as a Weight Management Advanced Practice Clinician. The Weight Management APC will evaluate and treat patients in the medical weight loss program in a high-volume office with a large patient panel. This role will also work in partnership with our bariatric surgery team to provide postop bariatric surgery care as needed. This position is full-time, Monday – Friday, day shift 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM and located at the Wilmington campus. ChristianaCare’s Weight Loss program offers support to patients through the latest personalized weight loss treatments including lifestyle changes, weight loss medications and meal replacement products. Work collaboratively with registered dietitians, exercise physiologists, clinical psychologists, and case managers, bariatric surgeons. Weekly administrative time provided included in schedule.

Requirements

Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
Maintain state licensure as a registered nurse.
Maintain state licensure as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
National certification by an approved certifying agency as a Nurse Practitioner.
Prescriptive authority from state and federal authorities.

Nice To Haves

Experience as an APRN preferred.
