About The Position

Felix is looking for innovative Nurse Practitioners with great generalist experience and a passion for Weight Management to join their growing team of healthcare providers. The role is 100% remote, allowing NPs to work from home using a laptop, computer, or mobile devices. Felix is a digital healthcare company founded in 2019, focused on making healthcare more accessible and enjoyable for Canadians through technology and excellent customer experiences. They offer an end-to-end healthcare experience including online treatment, prescription delivery, and ongoing care for various health categories like weight loss, birth control, menopause, erectile dysfunction, and acne.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in at least one province in Canada.
• Preference will be given to NPs with multiple licensing or with licensing that meets current needs.
• Physically located in Canada.
• Have a billing number in the province(s) that you are licensed, required for ordering laboratory testing.
• Be a member in good standing of the College(s) where you hold the title of Nurse Practitioner, maintaining eligibility and willingness to be licensed in other provinces.
• Have 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
• Demonstrated experience in providing patients with the best possible care.
• Direct experience with treating and managing obesity.
• Experience in telemedicine.
• Proficient understanding of technology, EMRs and remote work.

Nice To Haves

• Cross-jurisdictional licensure.
• Additional certifications or training in the obesity or weight loss fields.
• Additional experience in weight loss, menopause, mental health, erectile dysfunction, and birth control care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients, with a special interest in Weight Management.
• Be available to provide a minimum of 6 hours of scheduled time per week on the platform.
• Log in at least every 24-48 hours to address patient needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow the code of conduct as per the governing body of their province/territory.
• Adapt and be open to change.
