About The Position
We are looking for innovative Nurse Practitioners with great generalist experience and a passion for Weight Management to join our growing team of healthcare providers. Felix is Canada's first end-to-end healthcare experience, providing online treatment, prescription delivery and ongoing care. We deliver care across a growing range of daily health categories such as weight loss, birth control, menopause, erectile dysfunction, acne and more.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in at least one province in Canada.
- Physically located in Canada.
- Have a billing number in the province(s) that you are licensed, required for ordering laboratory testing.
- Be a member in good standing of the College(s) where you hold the title of Nurse Practitioner, maintaining eligibility and willingness to be licensed in other provinces.
- Have 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
- Demonstrated experience in providing patients with the best possible care.
- Direct experience with treating and managing obesity.
- Experience in telemedicine.
- Proficient understanding of technology, EMRs and remote work.
- Adaptable and open to change.
Nice To Haves
- Preference will be given to NPs with multiple licensing or with licensing that meets our current needs.
- Additional certifications or training in the obesity or weight loss fields are a plus.
- Additional experience in weight loss, menopause, mental health, erectile dysfunction, and birth control care is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care.
- Treat and manage obesity.
- Provide a minimum of 6 hours of scheduled time per week on the platform.
- Log in at least every 24-48 hours to address patient needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow the code of conduct as per the governing body of their province/territory.
- Provide telemedicine services.
- Utilize technology, EMRs and remote work effectively.
