Nurse Practitioner - Walk In Center - Wilton
About The Position
Stamford Health Medical Group is seeking a compassionate, experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide urgent care coverage at its Walk In Center in Wilton, Connecticut. The role includes seeing and coordinating care for urgent and non-urgent patients, triaging patient phone calls and needs, and mentoring non-RN staff. The position is full-time, scheduled 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., alternating between Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Monday, Tuesday, Saturday. No on-call duties are required. Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
- A master’s degree is required for entry-level practice.
- An APRN license in Connecticut is required before the start date.
- Family Medicine training is required.
- At least one year of APRN experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care coverage at the Walk In Center.
- See and coordinate care for urgent and non-urgent patients.
- Triage patient phone calls and needs.
- Mentor non-RN staff.
