About The Position
Premise Health is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality, personalized, comprehensive primary care to client employees at its Health Center in downtown Pittsburgh. The role is based in a supportive health center environment. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no evenings or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical exams and provide preventive health measures according to guidelines.
- Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
- Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients about treatment plans, health maintenance, and development.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies.
- Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient health records and documentation.
- Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
