About The Position

Atrium Health Navicent is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner to join the Atrium Health Navicent Cardiology team in Macon, Georgia. They are looking for an APP motivated to meet the highest standards of care and to partner in providing the best in evidence-based care in a premier and highly respected environment. Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center, as the second largest hospital in Georgia, is a 637-bed American College of Surgeons verified level one trauma center and is the teaching program for Mercer University School of Medicine. It boasts an STS 3-star Heart and Vascular Center which houses cardiac catheterization labs, dedicated state-of-the-art operating rooms, a hybrid OR Cath lab, EP lab, CVICU, and a cardiac rehabilitation center; all staffed by a dedicated team of highly skilled APPs, nurses, and support personnel.

Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master Degree in Nursing.
  • Must maintain a current RN and APRN license to practice in the State of Georgia.
  • Must demonstrate competence in their practice setting.
  • Must be able to perform with a high degree of accuracy to reduce errors in judgment related to care of patients.
  • Must obtain required CEU's in care of patients in the care setting each renewal period.
  • Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work irregular schedules dependent upon needs of patients.
