Cardiology NP/PA
About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in Hood River, OR. The role involves outpatient clinical work, focusing on cardiology services. The coverage period is ongoing from December 1, 2026, with a shift schedule of Wednesday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, for 4 weeks per month over a 6-month period. The reason for coverage is supplemental. The average daily patient volume is 12. The facility uses the Epic EMR system and has equipment for Echocardiogram, Nuclear Stress Test, Cardiac Device Check, and EKG Interpretation. Support staff includes 1 RN, 1 MA, and 1 Office Staff member. Hospital privileges are required.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Licensed in OR
- DEA Required
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision for echo/nuclear exercise stress tests
- Perform in-office cardiac device checks and stress tests
- Sign off on cardiac device checks performed by cardiac device techs
- Interpret EKGs
