About The Position
Atrium Health Navicent is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner to join the Atrium Health Navicent Cardiology team in Macon, Georgia. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work a mix between clinic and the hospital. The ideal candidate will be motivated to meet the highest standards of care and partner in providing evidence-based care in a premier and highly respected environment. Atrium Health Navicent is part of the Advocate Health family, a large non-profit health system committed to advancing health equity and improving access and affordability. The Medical Center is a level one trauma center and the teaching program for Mercer University School of Medicine, boasting an STS 3-star Heart and Vascular Center with advanced cardiac facilities.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master Degree in Nursing.
- Must maintain a current RN and APRN license to practice in the State of Georgia.
- Must demonstrate competence in their practice setting.
- Must obtain required CEU's in care of patients in the care setting each renewal period.
- Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Work a mix between clinic and the hospital.

- Perform with a high degree of accuracy to reduce errors in judgment related to care of patients.
- Work irregular schedules dependent upon needs of patients.
