About The Position
This is an ongoing per diem role for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct disability evaluations for veterans. Veterans will come to your own office for their exams. You will examine veterans and record findings on standard disability evaluation forms. Each exam is a one-time evaluation, not ongoing care, and you will not treat, prescribe, or manage patients afterward. Exams are booked during business hours, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work
- Board certification
- NPI number
- Current ACLS and BLS
- Active DEA
- Your own office within 30 miles of Mountain Home, ID
- CV in month and year format
Responsibilities
- Examine veterans and record findings on standard disability evaluation forms.
- Conduct one-time evaluations, not ongoing care.
- Travel to veterans' offices for exams.
