About The Position

Pasadena Villa Outpatient is seeking a Part-Time/PRN Nurse Practitioner to join their team in North Charlotte, NC. This role is crucial in providing evidence-based and personalized clinical care for behavioral health conditions. Requirements

• Active ARNP within the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of three years of experience within a behavioral healthcare setting.
• Experience treating mental health disorders is strongly preferred.
• Possesses working knowledge of psychotherapy, psychopathology, diagnostic assessment, and related treatment interventions.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatments and ability to individualize treatment approaches.
• Must be able to conceptualize and implement a master treatment plan and monitor other clinicians.
• Superior communication skills working with patients, family members, community stakeholders, and staff.
• Performs duties independently, responsibly, and with a high level of integrity.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with mental health PHP/IOP and/or psychiatric hospital experience is desired.
• Experience with co-occurring disorders and/or substance use disorders is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conducts psychiatric evaluations and ensures medical necessity for individuals enrolled in the PHP.
• Provides medication management services for individuals enrolled in PHP as needed.
• Provides consultation, education, and related information to patients and families to increase treatment success and program engagement.
• Directs and collaborates with staff on clinical activities and interventions.
• Completes medical records and other documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performs other activities as requested by the Director and assumes other appropriate medical responsibilities as necessary.
