About The Position

Bethany Medical is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its established multi-specialty practice in Central North Carolina. The practice offers a blend of primary care, urgent care, and pain management in an all-outpatient setting, supported by onsite ancillary services and modern, well-equipped facilities. The role involves direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment, as well as developing patient management plans and helping ensure continuity of care. Providers use Allscripts EMR and participate in phone-only call coverage of 1:28 days or better. Bethany Medical is an independent multi-specialty group serving the Triad and surrounding communities. It has 13 locations and 16 practices, employs more than 65 providers and 570 employees, and offers urgent, primary, diagnostic, outpatient ancillary, and specialty care services.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
AANP or NCCPA certification.

Responsibilities

Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and corporate information.
Build relationships with patients, provide a valued bedside manner, and apply strong clinical skills.
Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist with continuity of care.
Communicate testing results, follow-up care, and additional information to patients.
Refer patients to specialists and relevant patient-care services as appropriate.
