About The Position

MPAC Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide patient-centered care to older adults at a designated senior-care facility in Danville, Illinois. This autonomous role makes the practitioner the primary provider responsible for patient care and outcomes, while collaborating with attending physicians, the facility Director of Nursing, facility personnel, and other MPAC providers. The practitioner treats an average of 12 to 16 patients per day, supports continuity of care through recovery, and documents care in the appropriate electronic medical records. The position calls for clinical judgment in a fast-paced, changing senior-care environment, including confidence making high-risk decisions amid ambiguity. The Nurse Practitioner also works with the Regional Clinical Manager and facility team to support clinical programs, communication, and teamwork. The role is typically onsite daily on a standard Monday–Friday schedule, with flexibility within a 40-hour work week. Most providers set a four-hour weekday window for calls and participate in rotating weekend call approximately once every five to six weeks. Providers do not go into a facility for call and do not take overnight call.
