As Canada's first end-to-end healthcare provider, Felix offers online treatment, prescription delivery, and ongoing care for various lifestyle health categories including weight loss, birth control, menopause, erectile dysfunction, and acne. We are seeking innovative Nurse Practitioners to join our growing team of healthcare providers, working at the forefront of virtual care to connect patients with medical professionals for lifestyle health concerns. This role offers the opportunity to provide quality online care across Canada.
Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Prince Edward Island (PEI).
- 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
- Demonstrated experience of providing patients with the best possible care.
- Physically located in Prince Edward Island (PEI).
- Possess a PEI billing number, required for ordering laboratory testing.
- Available to provide a minimum of 4 hours of scheduled time per week on the platform.
- Member in good standing of the College(s) where they hold the title of Nurse Practitioner.
- Maintaining eligibility and willingness to be licensed in other provinces.
- Experience in telemedicine.
- Proficient understanding of technology, EMRs and remote work.
- Adaptable and open to change.
Nice To Haves
- Additional licensing, preferably cross-jurisdictional licensure.
- Experience in weight loss, menopause, mental health, ED, and birth control care.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality online care across Canada.
- Address and treat patient lifestyle health concerns through virtual care.
- Log in every 24-48 hours to address patient needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow the code of conduct as per the governing body of their province/territory.
- Order laboratory testing using a PEI billing number.
