About The Position

Felix is looking for innovative Nurse Practitioners to join their growing team of healthcare providers. At the cutting edge of virtual care, Felix connects patients with medical professionals to help them address and treat their lifestyle health concerns. This role involves providing quality online care across Canada, specifically for a Nurse Practitioner licensed in Prince Edward Island. Preference will be given to NPs with additional licensing.

Requirements

Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Prince Edward Island (PEI).
2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
Demonstrated experience of providing patients with the best possible care.
Physically located in Prince Edward Island (PEI).
Possess a PEI billing number.
Available to provide a minimum of 4 hours of scheduled time per week on the platform.
Member in good standing of the College(s) where they hold the title of Nurse Practitioner.
Maintaining eligibility and willingness to be licensed in other provinces.
Experience in telemedicine.
Proficient understanding of technology, EMRs and remote work.
Adaptable and open to change.

Nice To Haves

Cross-jurisdictional licensure.
Additional licensing.
Experience in weight loss, menopause, mental health, ED, and birth control care.

Responsibilities

Provide quality online care across Canada.
Address and treat patient lifestyle health concerns via virtual care.
Log in every 24-48 hours to address patient needs.
Maintain confidentiality and follow the code of conduct as per the governing body of their province/territory.
Order laboratory testing (requires PEI billing number).
