Advanced Practice Nursing at NYP: Make a Difference Every Day Nurse Practitioner - NP - Emergency Department - Full Time - Days At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/The Allen Hospital, Emergency Department (ED) nursing is a moment-to-moment, career-transforming experience. Here, ED Nurse Practitioners independently assess conditions and rapidly arrange multidisciplinary care. This is a Full Time 8 AM - 8 PM day shift position. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Nursing
- Current New York State NP license (or willingness to obtain)
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- BCLS certification
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of NP experience in an Emergency Department
- Emergency room RN or NP experience
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the specialty of practice
