About The Position

Bethany Medical is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its established multi-specialty practice in Central North Carolina. The role is based in a busy outpatient practice and combines primary care, urgent care, and pain management services. Providers work with physicians and other providers in modern, well-equipped facilities with onsite ancillary services. The practice uses Allscripts EMR and provides phone-only call coverage of 1:28 days or better. Bethany Medical provides care across multiple locations in Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, Jamestown, Kernersville, North Wilkesboro, and Mt. Airy. The organization describes its mission as providing excellent care through a multi-specialty approach, from prevention to intervention of potentially life-threatening health problems. It has more than 60 providers and 525 employees.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
AANP or NCCPA certification.
Experienced candidates are preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in providing continuity of care.
Communicate with patients about test results, follow-up care, and additional information.
Refer patients to specialists and other appropriate patient-care services.
Maintain the confidentiality of patient and corporate information.
Build relationships with patients, demonstrate good bedside manner, and provide care using strong clinical skills.
