Nurse Practitioner - No Late Evenings or Weekend Hours
About The Position
Expanding practice seeks a Nurse Practitioner to work in York, Pennsylvania! Join a federally qualified community health center providing primary care to patients of all ages, with no late evenings or weekend hours. This is a full-time, outpatient setting where the Nurse Practitioner will provide the full scope of primary medical care, diagnosing and treating a broad range of conditions for patients from newborn to geriatric. The role involves documenting patient visits, reviewing incoming documentation, guiding and training nursing staff, and providing patient education on treatments, medications, and disease prevention. The position works under the general supervision of a collaborating physician and may involve up to 20% travel between sites.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited CRNP program
- Active Pennsylvania NP licensure
- Current CPR and Narcan certification
Responsibilities
- Provides full scope of primary medical care, diagnosing and treating a broad range of conditions
- Treats patients from newborn to geriatric, including multiple generations of the same families
- Documents patient visits and reviews incoming documentation
- Guides and trains nursing staff as needed
- Provides patient education on treatments, medications, and disease prevention
- Works under general supervision of a collaborating physician
