About The Position

Benefis Health System in Great Falls, Montana, is seeking a nurse practitioner to join their women’s health team. This role involves being an integral partner in outpatient practice, inpatient rounding, and fertility services. The position offers the opportunity to care for patients needing general primary care and gynecology services, round on OB/GYN patients (with mentorship available), and learn fertility care with the expectation of taking fertility call every third weekend after an orientation period. The ideal candidate will have experience in women’s health and/or labor and delivery environments. The clinic is located in a standalone Women’s and Children’s Center dedicated to full-spectrum women’s and children’s care, including obstetric, gynecology, maternal-fetal medicine, fertility testing and services, an office midwife program, and mammography. Patient care spaces are well-equipped with private waiting rooms, welcoming exam rooms, large procedure rooms, and dedicated ultrasound, mammogram, and DEXA scan services within the building. The current Women’s Health team consists of 4 OB/GYNs, 1 MFM, 1 office-based midwife, and 2 nurse practitioners, supported by great clinical and support staff. Labor and Delivery is located within a 5-minute walk at the main hospital and features 19 LDRP rooms, 5 high-risk antepartum rooms, and 2 operating rooms with 24/7 in-house CRNAs, a 3-bed triage area, and a dedicated call room. The medical group averages about 675 deliveries per year with a 35% c-section rate. The level III NICU is staffed with neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, nursing, and respiratory therapists. Pediatric hospitalists are available 24/7 for newborn rounds and care.
