About The Position
This is an ongoing per diem role for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct disability evaluation exams for veterans. The exams are one-time evaluations and do not involve ongoing treatment, prescribing, or patient management. Exams are booked during business hours (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM). The Nurse Practitioner will travel to their own office to conduct these exams, as no clinic space is provided. Candidates must live within a daily commute range of Sturgis, MI, and must possess their own brick-and-mortar office within 50 miles of Sturgis, MI.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work
- Board certification
- NPI number
- Current ACLS and BLS
- Active DEA
- Own office within 50 miles of Sturgis, MI
- CV in month and year format
- Must live within daily commute range of Sturgis, MI
Responsibilities
- Examine veterans and record findings on standard disability evaluation forms.
- Conduct one-time evaluations, not ongoing care.
- Travel to own office for exams.
