About The Position

This is a per diem role for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct disability evaluation exams for veterans. The exams are one-time evaluations, and the Nurse Practitioner will record findings on standard disability evaluation forms. The role does not involve treatment, prescribing, or ongoing patient management. Exams are booked during business hours (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM). A key requirement for this position is that the Nurse Practitioner must have their own office space within 50 miles of Newberry, MI, as veterans will come to this office for their exams. No clinic space is provided.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work
• Board certification
• NPI number
• Current ACLS and BLS
• Active DEA
• Own office within 50 miles of Newberry, MI
• CV in month and year format
• Candidates must live within daily commute range of Newberry, MI
