About The Position
This is a per diem role for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct disability evaluations for veterans. The exams are one-time evaluations, not ongoing care, and involve recording findings on standard disability evaluation forms. Veterans will come to your own office for their exams. Exams are booked during business hours, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work
- Board certification
- NPI number
- Current ACLS and BLS
- Active DEA
- Your own office within 50 miles of Rogers City, MI
- CV in month and year format
Responsibilities
- Examine veterans and record findings on standard disability evaluation forms.
- Conduct one-time evaluations, not ongoing care.
- Do not treat, prescribe, or manage patients afterward.
