NURSE PRACTITIONER PT - URGENT CARE CENTER (13624)
About The Position
The Nurse Practitioner will coordinate the plan of care, discharge, and specialty referrals as appropriate to meet the age-specific needs of the patient. This role involves planning and coordinating healthcare education for patients, their families, and other healthcare providers as needed. The Nurse Practitioner will perform comprehensive physical examinations and assessments, interpret, analyze, and evaluate the patient's medical record and social data. Additionally, they will perform and/or assist the physician with procedures per collaborative agreement and coordinate and participate in performance improvement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Current or eligible to be certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
- 5-7 years of progressive healthcare management experience, preferably in a medical practice or urgent care setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in a related field preferred.
