About The Position

Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care is hiring a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time role at its Northern Virginia urgent care center. The position provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community. The organization emphasizes physician-led urgent and primary care, integrated coordination with specialists and other services, subspecialty primary care options, and innovative technology including a telemedicine platform. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with every other weekend worked. Compensation is salaried, with an equivalent hourly range of $69.00 to $77.00 depending on experience, location, and FTE status. Total compensation may include performance-based bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

For Nurse Practitioners: a master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or a post-master’s certificate program.
For Physician Assistants: graduation from an accredited PA program and NCCPA certification.
At least 1 year of full-time experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine.
BLS and ACLS certification.
Virginia licensure as an FNP or PA.
DEA license.
Signed Practice Agreement and Scope of Practice/Protocol.
Successful completion of payer credentialing for Medicare and Medicaid.
Medical Staff credentialing for clinical privileges.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an urgent care setting.
Coordinate care within an integrated model that includes specialists, primary care, and other services.
