About The Position
The IMA Group is looking for a Nurse Practitioner in Warren, NJ to conduct one-time disability evaluations for U.S. veterans. This role involves clinical work with a purpose, focusing on assessing and documenting veterans' conditions for VA disability benefits, without the demands of ongoing patient care, prescribing, or treatment planning. Each evaluation is a self-contained piece of clinical judgment that directly shapes a veteran's benefits outcome.
Requirements
- Active NP license
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP program
- Hands-on clinical NP experience
Nice To Haves
- A background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, PM&R, or Orthopedics is a plus, not a must
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth medical evaluations of veterans applying for VA disability benefits
- Dig into medical records, test results, and supporting documentation
- Draft thorough evaluation reports through our electronic platform
