About The Position
The IMA Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Warren, NJ to conduct one-time disability evaluations for U.S. veterans. This role offers clinical work with a purpose, without the demands of ongoing patient care. The position involves assessing and documenting veterans' conditions for VA disability benefits. There is no prescribing, treatment planning, or on-call duties. Full-time pay is $115,000–$125,000 annually, prorated to the schedule. The role emphasizes a structured approach with strong onboarding and clinical support, allowing for a good work-life balance.
Requirements
- Active NP license
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP program
- Hands-on clinical NP experience
Nice To Haves
- A background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, PM&R, or Orthopedics is a plus, not a must
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth medical evaluations of veterans applying for VA disability benefits
- Dig into medical records, test results, and supporting documentation
- Draft thorough evaluation reports through our electronic platform
