Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (Required)
• Active Virginia license (Required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Active DEA registration (Required)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an emergency department, primary care, or urgent care setting (Required)
• Clean background with no malpractice or licensing issues (Required)
• Board Certification
• DEA Registration
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Active Virginia State License

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients of all ages.
• Perform various procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and point-of-care lab interpretations.
• Manage acute and chronic health issues while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Utilize electronic medical records (Epic) for documentation and charting.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist in airway support and initial emergency stabilization when necessary.
