About The Position

UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado is seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join its high-acuity Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team as a full-time Nocturnist, delivering advanced overnight surgical care in one of the Rocky Mountain region’s most respected Level II trauma centers.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master’s degree in Nursing
Nurse Practitioner Certification by ANCC or AANPCB
Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active)
Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado
Must be eligible for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid provider status
Must have no sanctions/exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA
Must hold BLS
2 years of trauma surgery experience preferred OR completion of a surgical fellowship

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive Trauma and Acute Care Surgery services for overnight coverage (7P–7A).
Perform assessments, order/interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans.
Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings.
Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management.
Work autonomously while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Document all care using Epic EMR.
Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws and privileging processes.
Maintain high-quality patient safety and performance standards.
Participate in UCHealth OAP mentorship, leadership development, and ongoing education.

Annual salary ranges from $136,822 to $179,379, based on experience
