About The Position

Expanding practice seeks a Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner to work in Findlay, Ohio! Join an outpatient-only Rheumatology practice with a collaborative care model, manageable patient volume, and no inpatient responsibilities. This role is with a nonprofit, integrated regional health system serving an eight-county region in Northwest Ohio. The organization serves over 4,000 patients daily and is one of only 45 members of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, providing physicians access to Mayo Clinic specialist consults at no cost to patients. The position is part of an outpatient specialty team based at a dedicated wellness/specialty center and utilizes Cerner EMR with AI-assisted charting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinic experience as a nurse practitioner in Rheumatology (preferred) or a related specialty (Allergy/Immunology, Dermatology, Nephrology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, or Pain Management).
• New graduates with a strong interest in Rheumatology are also considered.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient-only Rheumatology practice.
• Participate in a collaborative care model, working closely with rheumatology physicians.
• Manage an average patient volume of 12-15 patients per day.
• Share office phone call responsibilities in a 1:3 rotation.
• Ensure all inpatient admissions are managed by the hospitalist group.

Benefits

• Base salary: $120,000–$130,000, based on experience (includes 200 hours vacation/CME)
• wRVU productivity bonus (no cap): estimated $10,000–$20,000+ annually
