About The Position
Temple Faculty Physicians, the academic practice plan of Temple Health, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their Psychiatry department at the Episcopal Campus. This role involves treating and evaluating patients, administering advanced nursing care in a specialized clinical area, and performing a wide range of patient care activities including diagnosis and prescription of medical therapeutics in collaboration with a licensed physician. The Nurse Practitioner will contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment, prioritizing patient privacy, comfort, and emotional well-being, while treating patients with consideration for their age, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture in a caring, ethical, and professional manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
- Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program
- PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner
- PA Registered Nurse License
- Basic Life Support
Nice To Haves
- 2 years experience as a nurse practitioner
- 1 year experience in a clinical specialty practice
- 1 year outpatient/ambulatory experience
- General Experience in an EPIC environment
- Prescriptive Authority
Responsibilities
