About The Position

Kinstead helps experienced Nurse Practitioners in Maryland start and grow their own independent practices by providing the necessary business and operational support. This role allows NPs to own their practice, choose their patients, and set their own schedules, offering a flexible alternative to traditional NP jobs. Many NPs start part-time while continuing their current employment, with the option to grow their practice at their own pace. Kinstead handles the administrative aspects, including insurance credentialing, billing, EHR, scheduling, legal support, and marketing, enabling NPs to focus on providing patient care and leveraging their community knowledge.

Requirements

  • Experienced FNP, PMHNP, or other Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active Maryland NP license.
  • Meet Maryland's requirements for independent practice.
  • Several years of experience caring for patients.
  • Strong ties to the community to be served.
  • Desire to own and manage an independent practice.
  • Interest in having more ownership over patient care and work structure.

Responsibilities

  • Own and operate an independent Nurse Practitioner practice.

  • Utilize provided infrastructure for insurance credentialing, billing, EHR, scheduling, and marketing.
