About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our hospitalist team at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This is a full-time night shift (7pm-7am) position that offers a flexible block 7-on/7-off schedule. Piedmont Medical Center is a 288-bed facility with a closed ICU and uses Cerner EMR. No solo APC coverage is required. The primary responsibilities include floor calls, admissions, rounding, and discharges. The APC will round and discharge on their own, but hospitalist physician must co-sign all APC admit orders. The ED handles codes, and no procedures are required. The role will see a mix of high and low acuity patients.
