About The Position

TeamHealth is seeking an experienced advanced practice clinician—a nurse practitioner or physician assistant—to join its hospital medicine team at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, Georgia. This is a full-time night-shift position with a predictable 7-on/7-off schedule, working 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on a Tuesday-through-Monday rotation. The clinician’s primary responsibilities include cross-coverage, admissions, and overnight patient management. No procedures are required, and the emergency department manages codes. Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is a 310-bed acute care facility with a 24-bed closed ICU and a 38-bed emergency department that sees approximately 45,000 visits annually. The facility uses the EPIC electronic medical record system and has excellent specialty support. TeamHealth provides critical care, emergency medicine, and hospital medicine services at the facility. The clinician will work in a collaborative, well-supported environment. There is no solo clinician coverage: at least one nocturnist hospitalist physician is present each night, with additional support from a swing-shift NP/PA. The position is in Snellville, Georgia, approximately 45 minutes from downtown Atlanta.

Requirements

Experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
Ability to work the 7 p.m.–7 a.m. night shift on a 7-on/7-off schedule, with a Tuesday-through-Monday rotation.
