Full-Time - Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
About The Position
Care for Kids is dedicated to providing in-person urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and SchoolMed services for children in K-12 schools across Texas. Our mission is to revolutionize pediatric healthcare delivery, ensuring equitable access and quality care for all children. We are seeking dynamic and innovative Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our Pediatric Urgent Care & Primary Care team. As a valued member of our team, you will collaborate with medical directors and site physicians to deliver age-appropriate care under established protocols. Your responsibilities will include patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment initiation, and independent decision-making. Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (PNP or FNP) or Physician Assistant, with a focus on pediatric care.
- Proficiency in laceration repair, initial fracture management, and reduction of nursemaid's elbow.
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory guidelines (OSHA, CLIA).
- Maintain a valid, unencumbered Texas RN license.
- Active certification by national certifying bodies recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing (PNP-BC, FNP-BC) or NCCPA.
- Current PALS Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
