About The Position

Join our expanding team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at our brand-new Walla Walla Treatment Center, located at 2121 East Isaacs Ave Walla Walla, WA. This role offers a blend of on-site and telehealth patient encounters, focusing on providing comprehensive medical services within an opioid treatment program. The treatment center operates from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant in the state employed (licensing in WA and OR preferred).
• Current Washington DEA License.
• DATA WAIVER or ability to obtain DATA WAIVER.
• Meet state requirements for employment in an opioid treatment program.
• Adherence to federal guidelines regarding prohibited substances, even those legal at the state level.

Responsibilities

• Conduct history and physicals.
• Review urine drug screens and lab work.
• Conduct assessments.
• Participate in training.
• Manage crisis interventions.
• Refer patients to appropriate providers outside the Company's scope of practice.
• Participate in treatment team meetings.
• Perform medical services as outlined in the Practice Agreement agreed upon with the supervising physician.
• Utilize the telehealth system for patient encounters.
