About The Position
Colquitt Regional Medical Center is currently hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant to join our Pain Clinic to assume care of specific patients under the direction of on-duty physician. The Midlevel will follow established procedures and practices for patient care.
Requirements
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment seeing up to 30 patients a day.
Nice To Haves
- Willing to train candidate for Pain Clinic duties.
Responsibilities
- Confer with Physician concerning assigned patients to determine best course of treatment
- Counsel patient and family regarding treatment plan.
- Make referral of patients to other medical providers or facilities when appropriate.
- Be comfortable discussing and weaning narcotics.
- Evaluate patients and book appropriate interventional pain procedures for physician.
- Perform joint injections, trigger point injections, Botox for migraines within scope of practice.
- Work in a fast-paced environment seeing up to 30 patients a day.
