About The Position
Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its established Palliative Medicine team at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta, Georgia. The position follows a 7-on/7-off schedule and is part of a multidisciplinary program offering comprehensive palliative care across inpatient, outpatient, nursing home, and home-based settings. The team includes physicians, advanced practice providers, social workers, fellows, and a chaplain. Wellstar highlights mentorship, early-career support, provider wellness, professional development, teaching opportunities, and support for continued education. The program collaborates with services including intensive care, heart failure, oncology, hospital medicine, and emergency medicine, and supports care transitions to home-based palliative care and hospice.
Requirements
- Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide palliative medicine care as part of the team at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center.
