About The Position
Advanced Practice Provider – Inpatient Surgical Non-OR – Piedmont Heart Institute, Vascular Surgery Team. Piedmont Heart Institute is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Vascular Surgery service line team working at our Atlanta campus. This is a full-time position, four days a week that includes some weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Masters, Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification --or-- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with an Acute Care National Certification
Responsibilities
- Daily rounds and assist in management of pre and post-operative patients
- Evaluate consults, post-operative and preoperative patients in the outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital setting
- Applies specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the both ICU and acute care settings
- Participates in clinic at least once a week
- Contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization
