About The Position
UMass Memorial Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our Inpatient Urology team in Worcester, MA. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient care for adult and geriatric patients, including daily rounds, evaluations, diagnostic review, and progress note documentation. The APP will perform histories and physicals, formulate diagnoses and treatment plans, interpret labs and imaging, coordinate consultations, and perform bedside/clinical procedures. The position utilizes Epic EMR and integrated clinical systems. Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Eligible for or current Massachusetts licensure with national certification (NCCPA, ANCC, AANP, as applicable).
- Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and DEA license required.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient care for adult and geriatric patients, including daily rounds, evaluations, diagnostic review, and progress note documentation.
- Perform comprehensive histories and physicals.
- Formulate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Interpret labs and imaging.
- Coordinate consultations.
