About The Position

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a friendly and compassionate Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care to residents with urological conditions in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. The role includes assessing and treating conditions such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and prostate issues, and working with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, personalized care. The position is part-time and located in Cleveland, Texas.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
• An active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
• DEA license.
• CPR and BCLS/BLS certification.
• Master's degree in Nursing.
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• One year of experience in Urology.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience documenting in EMR systems such as Sigma, Visual, or PCC; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide patient education, counseling, and support on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
• Diagnose and treat residents with urological conditions, diseases, and infections.
• Document patient encounters, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, using electronic medical record systems.
