About The Position

NorthBay Health is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a specialty role in Urology. The Advanced Practice Professional works as a member of the multidisciplinary medical management team and provides care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Physician Assistants work under the direction of a licensed physician and follow standardized protocols and procedures in collaboration with the supervising physician. The role supports NorthBay Health’s mission to provide accessible, high-quality care and to ensure patients and families feel valued, respected, and cared for throughout their healthcare journey. The posted position is full-time and day shift. Compensation is $88.42–$107.45 per hour for a Physician Assistant or $97.99–$119.16 per hour for a Nurse Practitioner. Compensation is based on directly related experience; maximum rates reflect providers with 20 or more years of applicable experience.

Requirements

For Physician Assistant candidates: graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program approved by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
For Physician Assistant candidates: hold a current California Physician Assistant license.
For Physician Assistant candidates: hold NCCPA certification and board certification.
For Nurse Practitioner candidates: hold a master’s degree or higher.
For Nurse Practitioner candidates: graduate from an accredited nursing program, including completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
For Nurse Practitioner candidates: hold a current California Nurse Practitioner license.
For Nurse Practitioner candidates: hold national board certification through ANCC, AANP, AACN, PNCB, or another recognized certifying body.
Current AHA BLS/CPR certification or equivalent.
Current DEA registration with Schedule II prescribing authority.
Current Furnishing Number, if required for practice.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate patients’ physical and emotional health status.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills.
Ability to provide age-appropriate care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
Current knowledge of evidence-based clinical practices and standards of care.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and standard office technology.

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience as an APP in a related specialty and ambulatory care preferred.
Experience with electronic health records; Cerner or Epic experience preferred.
Bilingual skills preferred.
