Per Diem Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Inpatient Urology, Worcester, MA
About The Position
UMass Memorial Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to provide inpatient urology care at University Campus in Worcester, Massachusetts. The position serves adult and geriatric patients and includes daily rounds, patient evaluations, diagnostic review, and progress note documentation. The APP performs comprehensive histories and physicals, formulates diagnoses and treatment plans, interprets laboratory results and imaging, coordinates consultations, and performs bedside or clinical procedures within their delineation of privileges. The role uses Epic EMR and integrated clinical systems. The schedule is per diem, with 10-hour day shifts from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Eligible for or hold current Massachusetts licensure.
- National certification (NCCPA, ANCC, AANP, as applicable).
- Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration.
- DEA license.
