About The Position
Valley Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide family medicine care while splitting time between its Cedar Grove and Kanawha City teams in West Virginia. The role delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and supports Valley Health’s mission to improve health and well-being throughout Kanawha County. The position may be part-time or full-time.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of family medicine experience.
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in West Virginia.
- Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to community-focused care and ongoing professional development.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, with an emphasis on preventive care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated, holistic care.
- Educate patients on wellness, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
