About The Position

Temple’s Vascular Surgery department is searching for a Nurse Practitioner to join the team! This role falls under the Temple Faculty Practice division. This is an outpatient setting with full-time hours, Monday-Friday, 8 hours a day/ 40 hours a week. There is no on-call or weekend work required. The primary location is Temple Main with a possible rotation to Episcopal Campus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing Required
• Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program Required
• PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner Required
• PA Registered Nurse License or Multi State Compact RN License Required
• Basic Life Support Required

Nice To Haves

• 2 years experience as a nurse practitioner
• 1 year experience in a clinical specialty practice
• 1 year outpatient/ambulatory experience
• General Experience in an EPIC environment
• Prescriptive Authority

Responsibilities

• Treats and evaluates patients; administers advanced nursing care in a particular clinical specialty area.
• Performs a wide variety of patient care activities including diagnosis, the prescription of medical therapeutics in collaboration with and under the direction of the licensed physician.
• Contributes to a safe and therapeutic environment that is centered on the needs of the patients, caregivers and others demonstrating concern for the patient's privacy, comfort, and emotional state.
• Treats patient with consideration to age, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture in a caring, ethical, and professional manner.
