About The Position

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. At UW Health Arbor Gate Clinic, our experts strive to obtain the best possible outcomes for a broad range of heart conditions and rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation and inherited arrhythmias. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner of Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care to both well and ill adult patients in an outpatient setting. Perform clinic visits for new and returning cardiovascular patients. Provide timely communication with patients and staff for the management of patient healthcare needs. Focus on preventative cardiology medicine.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program (if Nurse Practitioner)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program (if Physician Assistant)
  • State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
  • Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice (if Nurse Practitioner)
  • Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice (Family; Adult/Gero Primary Care) (if Nurse Practitioner)
  • Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice (if Physician Assistant)
  • Active PA board certification (if Physician Assistant)
  • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
  • Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice.

  • Master’s degree or higher.
