About The Position

Work Schedule: 100%, day shift working Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. This currently does not include weekends, holidays or call shifts but subject to change based on programmatic growth. You will work at the outpatient clinic at E. Terrace Dr. Medical Center or the Arbor Gate Clinic in Madison, WI including a regional clinic (location to be determined) and a regular inpatient rotation at East Madison Hospital. Pay: The pay range listed reflects both titles. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants Be part of something remarkable As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to: Provide comprehensive care to both well and ill adult patients. Perform clinic visits for new and returning cardiovascular patients. Provide cardiology consults in the inpatient setting in collaboration with the cardiologist. Provide timely communication to patients and staff for the management of patient needs.

Requirements

  • State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
  • Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice (for NP)
  • Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice (Adult, Adult/Gerontology Acute Care, Adult/Gerontology Primary Care, or Family) (for NP)
  • Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice (for PA)
  • Active PA board certification (for PA)
  • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
  • Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program (if Nurse Practitioner)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program (if Physician Assistant)
