About The Position

Pulmonary Medicine Associates is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their hospital care team at Vibra Hospital in Folsom, California. This role involves working closely with physicians to provide high-quality medical care to patients with complex medical needs in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting. The position offers a predictable workflow, a supportive interdisciplinary team, and no rapid patient turnover. Training is provided. Requirements

Graduate of an Accredited School offering an Advanced Degree in Nurse Practice (ARNP) and current, unrestricted California NP license OR Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program and current California State Physician Assistant License, issued by Physician Assistant Board under the Medical Board of California.
Current DEA certificate without restriction.
ACLS required.
Ability to prioritize and establish work standards and business goals.
Ability to relate to patients, their families, and members of the healthcare team in a tactful and professional manner.
Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques.
Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills along with proper telephone etiquette.
Ability to provide medical services within the scope of licensing and training.

Nice To Haves

Two years related NP/PA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care to LTAC patients under the general supervision of a physician, using established and approved protocols.
Coordinate care with consulting specialists and interdisciplinary teams.
Perform admissions, daily rounds, and discharges as needed.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR.
