About The Position
Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group seeks a full-time, certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide care in Family Medicine in San Jose (West Valley), California. The role offers a resource-rich working environment and a schedule designed to promote work/life balance. The clinician will collaborate with an on-site team of primary care clinicians and medical specialists. Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group is a multi-specialty medical group with more than 2,200 clinicians across 40+ specialties and practices throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. The organization is affiliated with the not-for-profit Palo Alto Medical Foundation, which provides operational and administrative support, including technology, so clinicians can focus on patient care.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- At least 6 months of related primary care experience as an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA).
- Current California State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Nurse Practitioners must have a current furnishing number.
- Physician Assistants must have CAPA Controlled Substance Certification.
- Active DEA registration.
