About The Position
Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group is seeking a full-time, certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in Endocrinology in Burlingame, California. This on-site role offers a resource-rich working environment with state-of-the-art facilities, on-site laboratories, and digital imaging departments. The schedule is designed to promote work/life balance, and the clinician will collaborate with primary care providers and medical specialists. The role offers opportunities to care for patients with Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, and gestational diabetes. Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group is a large multi-specialty medical group with more than 2,200 clinicians across more than 40 specialties in practices throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. It is affiliated with the not-for-profit Palo Alto Medical Foundation, which provides operational and administrative support, including technology that allows clinicians to focus on patient care.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- 6 months to 1 year of endocrine-related clinical experience.
- Current California state NP or PA license.
- Active DEA registration.
- Physician Assistants must have CAPA Controlled Substance Certification.
- Nurse Practitioners must have a current furnishing number.
Responsibilities
- Provide endocrinology care to patients, including those with Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, and gestational diabetes.
