The CHOP Cellular Therapy and Transplant Section (CTTS) is seeking Advanced Practice Providers with relevant experience to join our team. In collaboration with an attending physician, the Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant is responsible for the direct care and follow-up of a population of patients that matches his/her delineation of privileges and skill set. The components of the role include clinical practice, consultation, professional development, education, and research. This position will be responsible for the direct care of CTTS patients. This position will be part of the CTTS multidisciplinary team that implements outstanding cutting edge clinical, translational and outcomes research while providing outstanding clinical care to the patients we serve. You will work collaboratively with the clinical and research teams. Areas of research include alternative donor transplants, CAR T cells, transplant for non-malignant diseases including immune regulatory disorders, and other cell therapies. Strong communication and organizational skills are necessary for this position as well as the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, often demanding environment. In addition to providing direct care and consultation services across the entire range of primary diagnoses we treat, the position will specifically be part of a new program within CTTS dedicated to the care of patients with severe immune regulatory disorders, and applicant responsibilities will include providing expert consultant continuity of care for these patients both pre- and post-cellular therapy when they are admitted to the hospital, regardless of primary service of record.
