About The Position

Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Rehab Medical Practice team. As a key member of our team, you will work in a rehabilitation facility setting, providing top-notch care to inpatients and supporting their overall well-being.

Requirements

Expected hours: 40 per week
Experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care

Nice To Haves

Certified Nurse Practitioner/PA? (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Consult and follow up on patient care at Kindred Hospital
Arrive at the facility in the morning to review hospital cases for the day
Perform new consults and follow-up visits with inpatient individuals as requested by attending physicians
Provide Rehab & Pain Management consultations to inpatient individuals at Kindred Hospital Hospital mainly.
Identify Hospital/Clinic conversion patients
VERY FLEXIBLE HOURS
Maintain/update Hospital billing spreadsheet
Provide coverage at Cypress or Tomball Clinics when daily Facility consults fall below the expected 12 AM and 12 PM consultations
